They are engaged in the production of reinforcement and easy opening systems that are primarily used in the corrugated cardboard packaging sector.The founder of company, Martin Robitaille, played a key role in the development and production of tapes with polyester yarns coated with tough Hot Melt Adhesives in the early 1980s. Since the founding of company, in 1992, they have included a high-quality team of people in their work, and thanks to their performance, company has been growing steadily. Marotape i MaroString are high performance tape products used for reinforcement or as an easy open feature in cardboard packaging.

Marotape are strips made of high-tenacity polyester fibers that are coated with tough Hot Melt Adhesives.This construction gives the best adhesion properties between the tape and the cardboard, while maintaining the high resistance of the tape to tearing. Marotape tapes are preferred over plastic pressure sensitive tapes, as they have a high resistance to damage that can occur to tapes during the cardboard production process.This is crucial for both: reinforcement and the easy open feature applications.Using Marotape and MaroString is a very attractive way to improve corrugated packaging performance by reducing costs due to less paper use.
